After that, I was very sleepy and hungry, so my friend and I ask for permission to out of the classroom. We buy something to eat, yeahh we called of the food is "Batagor" hehe.

After the lesson finished, I met another friends. We was talking about something new. Yup, the new phone. Another my friend has a new phone, and I was so curious about that. They say, the phone was very nice. Oh, I want to change it with my old phone, but is my mother would allow that? Ohhhh.. I'm not sure :(

Today, I was studied about "Introduction to Linguistics". And then, the material of this week is "Place of articulation"

----->> Consonans are distinguised also according to the location of their production, that is, after the various of the vocal tract.

• Bilabials are consonants that are articulated by pressing the lips, like [m].
• Labiodentals are consonants articulated by bringing the bottom lip to the upper teeth, like [f].
• Alveolars. These are articulated by raising the tip of the tongue to the alveolar ridge, like [d].
• Velars. If you raise the back of your tongue to the soft velum, velars are produced. An example is [g].
• Interdentals or Dentals are the sounds at the beginning of "thin" and "then", in IPA : [teh] and [deh]. In order to articulate these, you have to press the tongue between the teeth. Again you can see that the difference is voicing.
• Palatals as in the middle of the word "measure" are produced by the contact of the front part of the tongue with the hard palate just behind the alveolar ridge.

Whit the help of this detailed information we can now refer to every consonant by its location and manner of articulations; [f], for example, is a voiceless, labiodental fricative.
